Getting Started with Adult Hockey
The Aerodrome's adult program has three progressive levels culminating in participation
in one of our adult hockey leagues. We welcome all levels of experience. Our excellent
coaches will help place each participant in the program at the appropriate level.
USA Hockey
This year we are joining USA Hockey. Please
download and review the information for USA Hockey. There are some exciting
benefits.
Hockey 1
The curriculum for the Hockey 1 program is designed to teach basic skating skills.
Goals of this program are to teach good body position and body control, while introducing
the concept of edges. Classes are 30 minutes in length and are held on Thursday
and Saturday. The program is run by the Figure Skating Department as Beginner Hockey.
All Ages Enrollment is handled through our Figure Skating Academy
HELMET AND FACEMASK REQUIRED ( we do not supply the equipment)
Hockey 2/3
This program will deal with the concepts of skating, stick handling, passing, and
shooting. Full equipment is required.
